Crazy Times

Sorry guys, you probably think I am one of the worst bloggers ever due to my lack of blogs lately. However, the past week I have been working like crazy trying to clean the house for a 4th of July cookout my mother decided to have. Never before however did I realize how similar my characteristics are to my mom's. Her purpose of this cookout was not to bring our family together to celebrate what really mattered, the freedom of America, but to see how my stepdads family would react when they came to our house for a change. They never come down here, so she wanted to see if that family was as cruel (for lack of a better word) when they were not in there own setting. Maybe I am not adopted like I thought before...Anyways, sorry I cannot share the results of this experiment, for I stayed downstairs with a friend the entire time.

Besides cleaning every inch of the house, I have been getting a few more things for college and I saw Beauty and Beast (the traveling Broadway show)! That was a great night....

The play itself was magnificent! My only complaint would be our seats, I was waiting for an airplane to hit my head for we were so far up, but the play was still wonderful! Be Our Guest was so extravagent and the choreography was amazing! I also found myself falling in love with the character of Gaston. If you are familar with Beauty and the Beast, you would know that Gaston is the character that everyone is supposed to hate. He is sexist, tries to force an innocent girl to marry him, accuses an elderly man of being insane, isn't that good-looking, and literally stabs the beast in the back when he isn't looking. But for some reason, I found myself loving that character! Kuddos to the man who played him, that acting and singing was incredible!

That night was also great because my friend and I found ourselves starving when the play was over. Do you realize how hard it is to find open restraunts at eleven o'clock on a Sunday night? Well it is extremely difficult! To continue the story, my friend and I found ourselves at IHOP. As if commenting on our formal attire isn't enough, the waitress also had to comment that she did not believe that I could eat all fur of my red velvet pancakes and my eggs. My response? Watch me. The look on her face when I had completely devoured all of my food, a cup of hot chocolate, and a glass of water was just fantastic. Overall, it was a great night.

That pretty much sums up what I have been up too lately. Oh, and here is a picture of me and my friend at Beauty and the Beast!
