Summer Jobs

Why is trying to find a summer job so stressful? I have applied to several places and have yet to hear a single thing. I just filled out a super long application for my old gymnastics gym (it was strange being in there considering the last time I was there was when I broke my arm in fifth grade) so hopefully I can assist or teach a tiny kid class or something. It would be fun to teach three year olds how to do a handstand. Anyways, this is the first summer I haven't had a job and it feels so weird to sit around when last year I was slaving away scooping ice cream. And just my luck, back when I had a job, all of my friends did not so we were never able to spend time with each other during the summer because I was always working. Now the tables are turned. Every single one of my friends have a job while  I'm the one being super unproductive this summer. And it is now getting to the point where getting a job would be pointless since I leave for college in a few weeks...ugh. Hopefully somthing will come up....
